These are  prototype pages from the recent redesign I did of the Hattiesburg American newspaper in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.
The paper has a circulation of just over 20,000; the small staff is incredibly scrappy and hard-working. There were things we could change and things we couldn't. The goal was to clean up the paper's look and give the staff better design tools to show off their fine journalism.
